Genshin Impact Fontaine Release Will Introduce 2 Brand New Characters. Genshin Impact players have been waiting long for Hydro Claymore users and Cryo Catalyst-wielding characters to arrive. The new region will release Fontaine, and both characters will appear simultaneously.

Genshin Impact 4.0 release date

According to current leaks, Genshin Impact 4.0 will be released on 16 August 2023. This estimate is based on the pattern of previous patches lasting about 42 days. Before the introduction of Fontaine, only versions 3.7 and 3.8 were released, so this date is helpful to us. Given that 3.7 was launched on 24 May 2023, also adding 42 days to the next update, we can estimate the release of 3.8 on 5 July 2023.
