We’re just over a week from the second phase of version 3.8 of Johnny J Genshin, the last patch of the 3.x cycle. After Genshin 3.8, we’re going to Fontaine, the only thing that will help bring back old players. The Hoyoverse has already revealed many new characters that will be released in the coming months, and there are more characters that we didn’t see in that teaser but can see in the future. Since Hoyoverse will release new characters as the Fontaine patch progresses, players have a high chance of getting old characters they don’t currently have. Hoyoverse will bring back old characters in the Fontaine patch again.
Genshin Impact 4.0 leaks
Beta testing for version 4.0 of Genshin has already begun, and official announcements of new characters will be released in 4.0. Lyney, Lynette and Freminet are three new units to be added to the game in the next patch. However, we already know that Lyney will be a five-star character, and the other two will be four-star. No new five-star characters will be added to their 4.0 banner except for Lyney, so we get three rerun banners. Yelan, Childe and Zhongli are other characters who could get their rework back in 4.0.
Lyney and Yelan are said to appear in the first half, while Childe and Zhongli are known to have reruns in the second half. Zhongli received her previous rerun in 3.0, Childe received her rerun in version 3.2, and Yelan received her latest rerun in version 3.4.
Genshin Impact 4.1 leaks
After 4.0, we will be moving to version 4.1. We discovered that two new five-star characters will be released in version 4.1, Wriothesley and Neuvillette.
Both these characters will be five stars, so that they will be released under their separate banners. Apart from these, two other slots will be filled with re-banner, which we will know further. According to a leak, Wriothesley will get his rerun banner in the first phase of version 4.1, and huu tao will also get his rework. We know that huu tao had his last rematch with Yelan in 3.4. For Episode 2, we’ve learned Neuvillette will get his banner, and with him, Raiden Shogun may get a rerun, as he’ll be reworked after version 3.3.
Genshin Impact 4.2 leaks
Now let’s know about Genshin 4.2 version. The Hydro Archon will reportedly be released as a playable unit in Furina version 4.2. He may get his rerun banner in the first episode. According to the leak, other than the Hydro Archon, there won’t be any new five-star units in 4.2. So the remaining three slots will be filled again with some other banner. Baizhu is about to get his rerun banner with Furina in the first phase of 4.2. Albedo should get his rerun banner with Arataki Itto in the second episode. Both these units last had their rework done quite some time ago. Although Albedo last saw its resurgence in version 3.1
